It’s very difficult these days to save money with a budget while also indulging in some newly purchased clothes. Here I’ve made a list of all my go-to ways of finding clothes at bargain prices.
Hand me downs
Not all hand me downs look like your gran’s old curtains. It can be useful if someone is having a clear-out to look through their stuff before they chuck it out. You might even find some hidden gems and save on a lot of money by reusing clothes. By doing so you are giving a new lease of life to old clothes which otherwise would have been thrown away. I love hand me downs and I’m always looking for bargains and ways I can save money. In this outfit, the top and skirt are both hand me downs but are easily revived.

Another great place to find clothes at bargain prices is charity shops. Often, they are overlooked for not having the most appealing clothes but just like hand me downs there are many hidden gems in charity shops. Clothes in charity are often heavily discount so are easy on a budget and your money is going to a good cause so it makes it easier to spend. The constant rotation of stock in a charity shop you’ll never find the same thing. This means you might have to do some searching to find the perfect piece. I poke my head into charity shops now and again which led me to find this simple leather skirt for just £2.50. Even if the clothes aren’t for you why not get creative and modify them to your style?

The most popular way to save money is looking out for shop sales and clearances. If your serious about saving you could impose a rule of not to buy anything full price. By sticking to that rule when a sale comes you can get multiple things for the price of one. It’s the easiest way to save but also challenging as they are not as discounted as the previous options as the clothes bought in sales are brand new never been worn before and better quality. This can be more appealing, and sales are my go-to excuse for buying clothes and I love finding a good bargain.
